Financial Policy

photoBrunswick Endodontics is a fee for service dental specialty practice. We will kindly request that all accounts be settled at the time treatment is rendered. We are a preferred provider for CIGNA, DELTA, and GEHA. We will also accept and electronically file most other insurance applications. This office conveniently takes CareCredit, Cash, VISA, Discover, Mastercard, and American Express. Evaluations for treatment, radiographs, and any initial consult fees are respectfully due at the time of your 1st appointment if multiple appointments are necessary.

If you choose to file with your primary insurance company, we will try to estimate your portion due at the time of service. This estimation is based solely on information straight from your insurance carrier and is in no way a guarantee of payment. Unfortunately as a small business, we cannot finance this estimation of your balance, nor can we bill you for the difference. The remaining balance after estimation must be secured with a major credit card (not debit) and kept on file for payment of the remaining balance after 30 days. Following 30 days, you are responsible for the remaining balance and any further requests for your insurance carrier. We will make every effort to help you effectively settle your claim in this first 30 days. You will be responsible for filing all secondary claims with any additional insurance carriers. If multiple attempts are required to file your claim due to errors in the information you submit, a processing fee of $50.00 may be accrued to your account for each attempt. Of course if you do not feel comfortable with disclosing your credit card information or disagree with our policies, you may pay your balance in full and we will request your insurance company to reimburse you directly following completion of treatment per their policy protocol.

In some cases, the insurance company may overpay the estimation of your claim and that sum will be refunded back to you at the end of the month following account settlement. Note that you will likely receive your estimation of benefits (EOB) sometimes 1 month prior to us receiving your settlement check. All returned checks will be subject to $75.00 bank fee.
